If you go to Mumbai, spend an afternoon into an evening at Back Bay in Colaba. It’s a beautiful place and a perfect spot to watch the sun set. The transition from day to night is accompanied by a change in the temperament of the people there, which changes from reserved and relaxed in the heat of the afternoon sun to spunky and festive as the lights come on and the dinner sellers hawk their puri and chai.

The video below is my silly attempt at some freehand focus artistry to illustrate the sheer length of Back Bay. Mind you the video shows a frame-up of the left side of Back Bay, looking South. I was roughly in the middle of the bay, so there is a roughly an equal length of shoreline looking North as well. All occupied by swinging feet 😀
